The International Electro Technical Commission (IEC) has warned that High Pressure Water Cleaners may sustain damage if the mains power supply is not turned off when the cleaning unit is not in actual use.

Therefore we request that you review your operating practices for your STIHL High Pressure Cleaner to eliminate the risk that has been identified by the IEC.

The machine must not be left in standby mode for more than 5 minutes. If work is interrupted for more than 5 minutes or if the machine is left unattended always turn off the mains powers supply or disconnect the machine from the power supply in order to avoid possible overheating and/or damage.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire or property damage.
