The STIHL HSA 50 battery hedge trimmer within the AK battery system, is a true all-roander for home garden maintenance. It’s lightweight, optimally balanced, and perfect for work in residential or noise-sensitive areas.

The STIHL HSA 50 is ideal for efficiently trimming medium sized shrubs and hedges. It’s loop handle with internal control to provide convenient cutting and manoeuvrability. Designed with the user in mind, you can operate the hedge trimmer easily with either your left or right hand.

The HSA 50’s 50cm blades are laser-cut, diamond-groand, and hardened in tear-drop shaped geometry with 30mm tooth spacing. This design helps the trimmer securely hold branches in the cutting blade, ensuring a clean cut and excellent cutting performance.

STIHL recommend the AK 10 battery however, the HSA 50 can be used with the AK 20 or AK 30.

The single-sided and double-sided cutter blades produce a very clean cut when trimming, while the optimum sharpening angle facilitates high cutting performance. Due to the large tooth spacing, you can also prune your hedge effectively.

    The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time.
