The STIHL GHE 355 is tailor-made for regular use and larger quantities of shredding material. The sandwich-type blade unit shreds both medium-sized branches up to 35 mm in diameter as well as mixed soft shredding material. The BRS reversal mechanism allows you to manually reverse the rotational direction of the shredding blades. This means that a different blade type is used depending on the clippings. The garden shredder has a powerful motor and is easy to move.

    NOISE-INSULATED FEED CHUTE

    MAKES FILLING THE SHREDDER EASY. The large, noise-insulated feed chute makes it easier to fill your STIHL shredder. It also reduces work noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields you from any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.

  • SAFETY CLOSURE Zoom
    SAFETY CLOSURE

    PREVENTS INADVERTENT START-UP. The safety lock is integrated into the opening mechanism of the garden shredder. As soon as you open the closing screws of the power tool, the safety switch is activated and the power flow is interrupted. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally during maintenance work or blade changeover, for example.

    BRS reversal mechanism

    The rotation direction of the blades on this STIHL electric shredder can be reversed easily using a rotary switch. The blade rotation reverse system (BRS) activates specific blades. In a clockwise direction, sharp blades shred hard and woody shredding material. In an anti-clockwise direction, blades shred soft plant trimmings into compostable material. The system allows you to shred large volumes of material while helping maintain the sharpness of the special blades for longer.

      AHB 050 Shredder Bag

      The STIHL AHB 050 shredder bag collects chopped tree and green waste directly from ander the shredder. The self-standing shredder bag has a volume of 50L and has been developed for robust everyday work. It can also be used to easily carry larger quantities of chopped material. It is available as an optional accessory for most STIHL garden shredders (with the exception to the GHE 135 L shredder model).
