Chainsaw safety

Your safety when using and handling a chainsaw is a major aspect of our daily development work. Your STIHL chainsaw is fitted with specially developed safety features. In addition to that, it is essential for you to wear the personal protective equipment indicated below whenever you use a chainsaw.

But before you get started, please be aware that personal protective clothing and appropriate accessories are no substitute for a careful, safe way of working.
So: Please read the Instruction Manual first before you start sawing!

Caution!

Before starting work check that your protective clothing is complete and worn correctly. Your protective clothing should be suitable for the purpose, it should not impede movement and it should fit snugly.
