We have developed our own fuels and lubricants so that you can get optimum performance out of your STIHL engines. What's more, as they burn cleanly and boast outstanding lubrication properties, they minimise wear on your tools.
To ensure that your STIHL 2-stroke engines and STIHL 4-stroke engines work optimally at all times, you need a fuel mixture that is precisely adapted to the performance requirements of your STIHL power tools. Because we develop and test our engine oils and fuels – like our chainsaw petrol, for example – in-house, we can optimally adapt them to the various use cases. Chemists and engineers work together in our labs and test every development on over 100 test benches. We also work with users, so our fuels are also being constantly tested in the real world.
With STIHL MotoMix fuel, you can really unlock your machine's performance. It offers the very best cold-start properties and maximum acceleration across the entire speed range. With the patented fuel formula, premixed at a ratio of 1 to 50, you can bring engines up to full speed continuously, while minimising maintenance requirements and costs at the same time.
STIHL MotoMix Eco is a variant of our fuel that contains 10% biogenic raw materials. This reduces CO2 emissions compared to conventional fuel mixtures.
We have developed STIHL Moto4Plus especially for small 4-stroke engines. This fuel also has low emissions values.
As long as you keep it sealed in its original container in a cool, dry place, you'll be able to use the fuel for up to 5 years.
In the engine oils and chain lubricants section, you will find various 2-stroke engine oils with exceptionally good lubrication and combustion properties, which you can use to mix your own chainsaw petrol or fuel for other tools with 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines. To do this, simply pour the engine oil into a canister that is approved for use with fuels, followed by the petrol. Before you pour the fuel mixture into the tank, mix the liquids together well by shaking the canister. Open the canister carefully, as pressure may have built up.
