    MAKES FILLING THE SHREDDER EASY. The large, noise-insulated feed chute makes it easier to fill your STIHL shredder. It also reduces work noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields you from any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.
    NOISE-INSULATED FEED CHUTE
    FOR EASY OPERATION. The housing is equipped with a touchbutton switch for easy switching on and off.
    TOUCHBUTTON SWITCH
    PREVENTS INADVERTENT START-UP. The safety lock is integrated into the opening mechanism of the garden shredder. As soon as you open the closing screws of the power tool, the safety switch is activated and the power flow is interrupted. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally during maintenance work or blade changeover, for example.

    The STIHL GHE 250 S electric garden shredder is particularly well-suited to landscape maintenance that requires large volumes of branch material to be efficiently shredded. Hobby gardeners can also benefit from the GHE 250 S with regular shredding of mixed cuttings consisting of twigs, branches and soft plant parts. It effectively reduces the volume of branch material to a fraction of the original amount.

    You benefit from the powerful electric motor when shredding larger quantities. The soand-insulated filling hopper enables you to feed in cuttings with ease, then they are drawn in by the blade unit with minimal kickback. Fitted with a noise-insulated blade disc with reversible cutting blades, the Multi-Cut 150 cutting system reliably shreds both hard and soft cuttings. Thanks to the sandwich-type blade system, this power tool also efficiently cuts slightly thicker branches into fine chips. The STIHL GHE 250 S can even efficiently and quickly shred branches that are up to 35 mm thick. You can use the shredded chips as garden waste for subsequent composting. The rich fertiliser produced in this way is ideal for your entire garden.

    The STIHL GHE 250 S shredder can be intuitively operated using the membrane switch integrated into the housing. Thanks to its wide wheelbase with transport wheels, you can easily move the electric shredder to the next place of use. With the optional robust 50-litre STIHL AHB 050 shredder container, you can collect shredded material directly ander the STIHL GHE 250 S. When changing blades, the electromagnetic safety lock prevents the GHE 250 S electric garden shredder from starting on its own.
