Power is transferred to the battery power tool by other added accessories, for example the STIHL AP holster with connecting cable for power tools with a socket or the STIHL AP adapter for power tools with a battery slot. The total weight in your hand is reduced, taking the strain off you as you work by protecting your back and arms.
