100 Years of Community
At the end of 2025, we launched the “100 Years, 100 Stories” competition to invite people to share their real stories with the brand as part of the celebration of our 100 years in 2026. We wanted to learn how our products have supported people over time, and we received an incredible response from customers across Australia, each sharing what STIHL means to them. From tough conditions to everyday work, these authentic stories showcase the trust, reliability, and lifelong connection people have with the STIHL brand.
Among all these stories, we are proud to highlight one standout entry from our winner, Kiana, which truly captures the spirit of #STIHLForLife100. Kiana always turns to STIHL first - from challenging situations like fires and tree felling to everyday life. Below, we are proud to share her story.
#STIHLForLife100 is more than just a hashtag, because I really am STIHL for life! From fires, storms, exotic trees, and everyday life in between – I will always reach for STIHL.
The sound and smell of a STIHL in the morning is the best way to start the day! STIHL has been with me through some very adverse conditions and has never let me down!
A group of us flew into a remote fire and were dropped in to cut a helipad for the other teams on a sandy riverbank. When the heli lifted, we were drilled with sand, and afterward, when I lifted my STIHL MS 462 C-M Petrol Chainsaw up, I had to shake an absurd amount of sand out of it for a couple of minutes, then it started first pull and away we went!
It doesn't matter what I am doing for the day – whether it be fires or just going for a drive, my STIHL is the first thing I will always pack!
