Recall STIHL SR 450

As part of quality control in production, it was discovered that a limited number of STIHL sprayers may have cracks in the flywheel. This damage can cause the flywheel to burst over the life of the machine. In this case, there is a risk of injury to the user as well as to third parties.
Only trained people can detect a damaged flywheel.
Affected machine number range: 369259472 up to and including 370391433
If you have purchased an SR 430, SR 440, SR 450 sprayer in 2020 or 2021 and it is from the above-mentioned machine number range, we ask you to stop using the machine immediately.
Please contact your STIHL dealer regarding the replacement of the flywheel. This repair is free of charge for you.
