COMFORTABLE WORK. To make your work easier and improve ergonomics, you can attach a harness to this STIHL power tool. You can use a special eyelet to do so.
EFFORTLESS MOWING OF LARGE AREAS. The ergonomic bike handle helps you mow large areas quickly and effortlessly, as this handle supports a natural brushcutter movement. The bike handle is easy to adjust and secure.
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range. Whether for mowing tall grass, clearing scrub or sawing work on small trees and shrubs – the STIHL FSA 250 combines ergonomic work with rapid progress as well as high operating and working comfort.
With a mowing circle of up to 480 mm and the powerful EC motor, the FSA 250 offers you the ideal conditions for efficient greenery maintenance. The clearing saw is characterised by low weight and is optimally balanced. The bike handle (mowing handlebar) can be conveniently adjusted without tools with the foldable clamping device. The optimised, ergonomic control handle allows you to set the speed to 3 levels to work as efficiently as possible while saving as much energy as possible.
For a long service life, the FSA 250 battery clearing saw is equipped with a robust housing, a durable steel drive shaft and an extremely stable aluminium protective tube, as well as a gearbox with grease filler screw. The air filter with metal grille ensures optimum engine cooling and is easy to clean. The power tool housing of the FSA 250 is also ready for use with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.
In addition to the STIHL 300 mm brush knife supplied as standard, the STIHL FSA 250 cordless brushcutter can also be used with various cutting attachments available as accessories, such as the PolyCut 48-2 mowing head or the AutoCut 46-2 mowing head.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP system have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. For the FSA 250 battery clearing saw, the splash guard that has already been proven by internal testing has also been certified in accordance with the IPX4 protection class.
