STIHL MS 500i Centennial Edition Chainsaw – General Ballot
1. Background
1.1 STIHL Pty Ltd trading as STIHL Australia, of 5 Kingston Park Court, Knoxfield VIC 3180, ABN 76 004 881 145 Telephone: (03) 9215 6666 (STIHL) expects to receive delivery of several hundred units of a limited-edition STIHL MS 500i Centennial Edition chainsaw (Product).
1.2 STIHL is prepared to sell, via its network of authorised dealers, up to 500 units of the Product to members of the general public. However, given the very high demand for the Product and its limited availability, STIHL has decided to determine the recipient of each opportunity to buy one (1) Product from an authorised STIHL dealer by conducting a random ballot draw (Ballot) on these terms and conditions (Conditions).
1.3 Eligible Entrants may submit up to one (1) Entry to register as an entrant in the Ballot (Entrant) and to thereby have a chance for their Entry to be selected in the Ballot. An Entrant whose Entry is drawn in the Ballot (Selected Entrant) will receive a single, limited and time-sensitive opportunity to purchase one (1) Product from a selected, authorised STIHL dealer (Opportunity) for the recommended retail price of $3,499 including GST or such lower price as may be agreed between the Selected Entrant and the selected, authorised STIHL dealer (Price).
1.4 For the avoidance of doubt, the Opportunity is not a prize, and no Entrant will be entitled to receive the Product for free. The selection of an Entry in the Ballot only entitles the Selected Entrant to receive the Opportunity.
1.5 Any information published by STIHL on how to enter into the Ballot, or on the details of the Opportunity, forms part of these terms Conditions, but these Conditions will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
1.6 By submitting an Entry and otherwise participating in the Ballot, Entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Conditions.
2. Ballot Period

2.2 The selection process, including any further draws, will occur after the end of the Ballot Period, as set out in clauses 6 and 7.
