STIHL 1L & 4L MotoMix Pre-Mix Fuel Container (Tin)
Pre-mixed fuel for use in STIHL power tools.
Reasons the product is recalled
The tins on affected products may leak due to a manufacturing defect. If the tin leaks, fuel may escape.
The hazards to consumer
Escaping fuel poses a fire risk if exposed to an ignition source. Leaked fuel may also cause skin or eye irritation, dizziness, or serious injury if swallowed and entering the airways.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately check the date printed on the bottom of the tin.
1L tins dated: 28/02/25 or 15/05/25
4L tins dated: 30/11/24 or 11/04/25
If your tin matches one of these dates and shows signs of leakage, stop using it and contact STIHL for a replacement tin or refund.
