FOR COMFORTABLE WORK. The softgrip handle integrates the control lever for switching on and off as well as a control lever lock, to make it easier to operate your battery brushcutter. Not only is it easy to grip, but it also absorbs some of the vibrations that arise during operation.
QUICK BLADE CHANGE. If the blades on the mowing head become worn, you don’t need to go and fetch new replacement blades: up to six replacement blades can be easily stored on the power tool. This allows you to rapidly replace parts and quickly continue your work.
INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition. The STIHL FSA 50 is suitable for clearing work, trimming smaller lawn areas and cutting lawn edges. In addition, the intelligent electronics make it possible for the FSA 50 to work at constantly high full power, irrespective of the charge level of the battery. Its electric motor is particularly quiet and therefore suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas. This is a great advantage, especially when working in your own garden and close to houses.
Special attention has been paid to ensuring you can work ergonomically with this battery brushcutter: The shaft length and loop handle can be conveniently adjusted without tools, and the mowing head can be angled to 3 positions. The STIHL FSA 50 can also be converted from a grass trimmer to a lawn edge trimmer in just a few simple steps, without tools. Another advantage: The fold-up and fold-down flexible spacer bar supports gentle and precise, almost flawless trimming around trees and shrubs as well as objects.
The variable speed control of the electric motor allows the speed to be continuously adjusted to the respective application. This will result in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery life. The STIHL FSA 50 is supplied as standard with the STIHL AutoCut C 3-2 line mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. This enables the mowing line to be automatically adjusted by simply tapping it on the ground, and can be conveniently filled from the outside with STIHL mowing lines without having to open the housing. Also available as an optional accessory is the STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with plastic blades, which can be changed without tools. Thanks to the practical carrying ring, you can hang the STIHL FSA 50 on the wall and store it in a space-saving manner.
