    RELIABLE STARTING. The electronic ignition system ensures reliable starting and trouble-free engine running. The high ignition voltage of the fully enclosed ignition system ensures a stable ignition spark and a long spark burn time. This also improves fuel combustion and reduces exhaust emissions.

    FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge – even those thicker branches.
    DOUBLE-SIDED CUTTING BLADE
    ERGONOMIC, COMFORTABLE WORKING. The rotatable multi-function handle enables precise and comfortable cutting with your hedge trimmer, both at your side and at head height. It can be rotated 90° to the left and right, and so is also suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. This means the power tool is always in the most ergonomically effective position in your hand.
    ROTATABLE MULTI-FUNCTION HANDLE
    Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
    STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM
    The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.<br /><br />The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

    A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
    MANUAL FUEL PUMP
    FOR OPTIMAL SHAPING AND FINE CUTS. Hedge trimmers in the trimming version are ideal for shaping and fine cuts for your hedges and shrubs. The blade geometry has a smaller tooth spacing and lower blade height, and the gear ratio ensures a high stroke rate. This means that even delicate work can be carried out cleanly.

    The STIHL HS 82 T petrol hedge trimmer features a powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine. Double-sided cutting blades deliver high cutting performance. The STIHL anti-vibration system absorbs engine vibrations to protect your muscles and joints, especially during longer periods of use. The multi-function handle, which can be rotated 90° to the right or left, means you can always use the STIHL HS 82 T petrol hedge trimmer in an ergonomic position for every cut.

    You can use the stop button to immediately restart the engine after an interruption in work. For your own safety and to protect the cutting blades, the STIHL HS 82 T hedge trimmer is also equipped with screw-on cut protection and a tip protector. The STIHL HS 82 T is equipped with a tool-free fuel cap so that you can top up fuels as quickly as possible.
